Luau 2004: Sharing the AlohaCome
and celebrate with us as we share with you the aloha and spirit of our dance and
culture. From
the traditional ancient kahikoof Hawaii to the modern awana,
we will represent Hawaii. The
drums of Tahiti will
beckon, as we dance
a tamare in our grass skirts to the
excitement and beat of the toere drums.
We will unvwil the magic of the
New Zealand, where the whirling poi balls and the hands tell a story.
We are the Spirit of the South Seas: Hula Halau Keiki o Ohana Lokah. We have performed thousands of times, including Expo ’86 in Vancouver, Canada, Centennial Theatre, major multi-cultural celebrations, corporate functions, the Pacific National Exhibition, luaus, hospitals, seniors’ homes, public events, and charities.
After the overwhelming positive feedback from last year's event, we are prompted to conduct
our fifth luau this summer. Over two hundred people enjoyed last year's event, an evening that included a buffet dinner, live
music from the Hula Howlies, live entertainment from The Spirit of the South
Seas, news coverage, and more. If there is one show to be at this summer, this is it!
